Closed 22 Oct 2021

Opened 23 Sep 2021

Overview

NOPSEMA has developed a Psychosocial Risk Management guidance note in response to increased concerns about the unique work environment and living conditions experienced in the offshore petroleum industry.

The heightened risk of exposure to psychosocial hazards has been further exacerbated by the raft of measures taken by industry in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The purpose of this guidance is to provide dutyholders with information on how to evaluate psychosocial hazards and implement control measures to effectively demonstrate a reduction of risk to as low as reasonably practicable.

NOPSEMA invites industry to provide comment on the guidance note by no later than COB Friday 22 October

NOPSEMA will consider all feedback provided during the public comment period and, where necessary, contact stakeholders for further clarification. All personal information will be managed in accordance with NOPSEMA's Privacy Policy.
